DivDat Provides On-Site Bill Payment Services and In-Person Assistance in Support of the City of Detroit's Taxpayer Resource Fair
DivDat joins the City of Detroit Office of Treasury's Detroit Taxpayer Service Center (DTSC) for their Taxpayer Resource Fair, an event designed to share information and provide assistance to property taxpayers, as 2023 "Summer Property Taxes" become due. The event will take place at the Heilmann Recreation Center on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 12 – 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, at 19601 Brock Avenue.

DivDat Adds Text-to-Pay Enhancement to its Mobile Payments App for Apple and Android
DivDat adds Text-to-Pay feature enhancement to the DivDat Mobile App, providing DivDat Mobile App users with an additional way to pay DivDat Payment Network billers with checks or cards in Metro Detroit. The DivDat Mobile App, available in the App Store and on Google Play, is free to download and to use (biller-specific transaction fees may apply).

DivDat Provides Detroit Department of Transportation with New Bus Pass Dispenser Additions to Self-service Bill Payment Kiosks
DivDat announces its ongoing support of its customer, the Detroit Department of Transportation and their riders, by providing new self-service walk-up Bus Pass Dispensers that allow DDOT customers to easily purchase bus passes by cash or card, receive instant payment confirmation and printed official receipt, and which dispense the corresponding fee-specific bus pass from the dispenser unit attached to the payment kiosk.

Detroit businesses could be fined if they do not accept cash under new ordinance detroit
The Detroit City Council voted unanimously to ban cashless businesses, which was introduced by Councilwoman Angela Whitfield-Calloway.
Whitfield-Calloway says she's advocating for over 100,000 Detroiters that don't use banks.

Still collecting the lion’s share of bill payments by drop box? There may be a reason for it.
If your department or municipality is still opening envelopes deposited in the drop box, consider this perspective. High volumes of drop box payments could indicate a consumer population that is unbanked, underbanked, or even offline. Self-service (real-time) payments are within reach for most utilities, cities, and even townships.
