2020 Halloween in the D

DivDat is pleased to announce it is helping bring Halloween back to Detroit kids and their families for the third consecutive year!

“Halloween in the D” will take place on October 31st as a family-friendly celebration with a host of Halloween activities. With the pandemic the City of Detroit is determined to pull off a safe event by having a socially distant trunk-or-treat at the police precinct, candy distribution at the fire stations, and haunted parks that include a drive-up option. In 2019 there were over 30,000 Detroit kids and families that took part in the event and over 225,000 pieces of candy distributed.

“We support the efforts of Mayor Mike Duggan and the public-private partnership to keep Halloween in the D happening during this pandemic.

This event is providing a safe and fun spirit of Halloween, trick or treating and ghostly delights to the kids in our city.” said DivDat President Jason Bierkle.
