About DIVDAT

DIVDAT was founded as Diversified Data & Communications in 1971 near Detroit by a pair of entrepreneurial brothers, Alfred and E. William Bierkle. After gaining significant experience in the data processing field with automotive giant Chrysler Corporation, Alfred and William departed to begin their own venture, a data processing services company dedicated to serving the data processing and management needs of both large corporations and small businesses.

Over time, the company has become a leader in the business of managing and processing data, as well as manipulating and communicating that data on behalf of clients over a wide range of industries. DIVDAT has developed the technology and acumen to deliver the complete range of data management and distribution services to a nationwide roster of clientele, from invoices, bills and other notifications to special offers, promotions, letters and beyond.

Today, DIVDAT is uniquely positioned as a leader in the emerging field of Preferential Communications, through the development of CashLINC and other product innovations that embrace Web-based and other new technologies to seamlessly integrate a company’s entire communications platform. The proprietary data integration, notification and response system is a comprehensive receivables management communications tool for our clients in the credit and collections, utilities, financial services, insurance and telecommunications fields, among others.

Jason BierkleJASON BIERKLE:

Jason Bierkle joined DIVDAT in 1989, serving in a variety of capacities over his career with the company. In 2007, he was named to his current position of President.

When DIVDAT purchased Newington, Va.-based Telepost in 1992, Mr. Bierkle was given the responsibility of directing the acquired division’s assimilation into DIVDAT’s culture and business practices while managing the entity’s development and growth. Under his supervision, the Newington branch significantly cut operating costs while increasing productivity 300 percent. He went on to accomplish similar results upon DIVDAT’s acquisition of its Las Vegas division.

After four years in Virginia, Mr. Bierkle returned to the company’s headquarters in Ferndale, Mich., to direct the company’s overall operations and supervise the Michigan office’s expansion and relocation, more than doubling its square-footage and increasing its production capacity. In 1999, he conceived and developed the strategy to drive the company’s e-commerce initiative, establishing DIVDAT’s electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) division. Under his direction, DIVDAT teamed with longtime client Nestle Waters of North America to complete the national rollout of its trademarked billOnline™ service to its customers in 2000.

In 2006, Mr. Bierkle led a team that identified, developed and marketed the industry’s first complete receivables management system, CashLINCTM. This comprehensive suite of customer contact and response services for account receivables communications allowed DIVDAT’s clients to streamline their financial processes and vendor management requirements.
